The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000024

Hi,

My system is having trouble recently. It sometimes reboots once in every 10-15 days.

Yesterday I got BSOD with the following error :

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000024 (0x000000b500190645, 0xffffd000636630c8, 0xffffd000636628d0, 0xfffff800d4d7e931). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 052615-31093-01.

I have attached minidump for your reference.

I will really appreciate if someone can answer.

These crashes were related to memory corruption (probably caused by a driver).

Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Please run verifier first.  You do not need to run memtest yet unless you want to.

If you are over-clocking anything reset to default before running these tests. In other words STOP!!!  If you do not know what this means you probably are not

1-Driver verifier (for complete directions see our wiki here)
2-Memtest. (You can read more about running memtest here)

Hi

Meanwhile, the article from msdn webstie for Bug Check 0x24: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM would be helpful for troubleshooting

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff557433%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

One possible cause of this bug check is disk corruption. Another possible cause is depletion of nonpaged pool memory. See Resolutionpart in the link above.

Regards
